  • J.N. Williamson was the editor for the ‘Masques’ series of anthologies, and he passed away while working on Masques V. Gary Braunbeck took over and completed the project. J.N. Williamson did sign the books before his death.
  • All of these stories appear for the first time, including in the chapbook, except Ray Russell's ‘The Black Wench’, which was printed in Playboy in 1985
