Notes Issued unsigned, but signed through Shocklines ‘Shoggoth's Old Peculiar’ was originally published in 1998 in the Mammoth Book of Comic Fantasy. It was later reprinted in Neil Gaiman's collection Smoke & Mirrors and in the 2005 anothology Taverns of The Dead. This is the only stand alone version of the story.
